Nowadays, many countries around the world are facing the problem of an aging population, and Singapore is no exception. Singapore had previously set a population growth target for 2030, aiming to reach 6.9 million. However, the current population of Singapore is 5.92 million, with a gap of nearly 1 million compared to the target. In response to this challenge, the Singaporean government realizes that relying solely on the natural reproduction of its own citizens is no longer sufficient to achieve the goal. Therefore, attracting foreign immigrants has become one of the most appropriate methods.
