What is Singapore PR
Singapore Permanent Residence (PR) grants foreign nationals the right to live and work in Singapore on a long-term basis. PR holders enjoy near-citizen benefits including access to public education, healthcare subsidies, and HDB housing.
PR is administered by the Immigration Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Approximately 20,000–30,000 PRs are approved annually. The assessment considers economic contribution, academic credentials, family ties, and social integration.

Timeline
The PR approval cycle usually lasts for 6 to 12 months. For some complex cases, it may take even longer. The overall stages are as follows:
Week 1–2 | Free assessment → strategy confirmation → document collection begins. |
Week 3–6 | Document compilation, translation, notarization → cover letter drafting → internal review. |
Week 6–8 | Official submission to ICA. |
Month 6–12 | Await ICA decision (no additional action required during this period). |
Upon Approval | Pay PR fees → complete registration → officially become a Singapore Permanent Resident. |
